The HTC807WN tom/cymbal combination stand has a sliding connector that allows you to actually move the toms back and forth (up to 60 mm) simply by loosening a bolt.

Relying on basic principles of physics, the Quick-Set Tilter holds its position using the friction of 6 smooth metal disc plates instead of traditional toothed gears, so you can adjust it to any desired angle. This mechanism also has a more durable structure than a conventional gear tilter.
