Vacuum tube 5881WXT is a beam tetrode in the glass bulb with octal base, with equipotential cathode, designed to amplify low-frequency power in the output stages of hi-fi audio.

Extremely consistent and reliable work-horse power beam tetrode. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881WXT will tolerate higher voltages than most other 6L6 types. Frequently used as replacement for old 7027s in vintage Ampegs.
